Surface Modification of Polyacrylonitrile Membrane Through Photochemical Graft Polymerization of Acrylic Acid

Polyacrylonitrile (PAN) membrane has been prepared by phase inversion method and subsequently modified by surface grafting polymerization of acrylic acid (AA). The influence of the surface modification on membrane properties hasbeen investigated through the surface characteristics and separation performance. The experimental results indicated that the grafting polymerization of AA leads to the reduced membrane skin pore size and the lower surface roughness. The separation performance of the modified PAN membrane is highly impoved due to the enhanced flux and the higher protein (BSA) retention; the antifouling property of membranes is also improved compared with that of the unmodified one...

Nghiên cứu phương pháp chiết và tinh chế solanesol tổng trong thuốc lá, lá khoai tây và lá cà chua Trong nghiên cứu này, solanesol được phân tách từlá thuốc lá, lá khoai tây, và lá cà chua bằng quá trình xà phòng hóa và chiết hồi lưu được tối ưu hóa. Hàm lượng solanesol tổng của các mẫu chọn lọc đạt cao nhất khi sửdụng phối hợp dung dịch KOH 2,0% với dung môi chiết ở nhiệt độ60 o C trong thời gian 2 giờ. Kết quảphân tích với HPLC cho thấy, hàm lượng solanesol tổng tìm thấy trong thuốc lá đạt cao nhất là 1,840% (tăng 52,0% so với hàm lượng solanesol tựdo tương ứng), trong khoai tây là 0,211% (tăng 85,0% so với hàm lượng solanesol tựdo tương ứng), và trong cà chua là 0,239% (tăng 74,0% so với hàm lượng solanesol tựdo tương ứng). Đã trực tiếp tinh chếsolanesol từcao thô bằng phương pháp kết tinh lại thay vì sắc ký cột với hiệu suất kết tinh 0,46% (độtinh khiết 86,0%) từcao lá thuốc lá, từcao lá khoai tây với hiệu suất 0,105% (độtinh khiết 80,7%), và từcao lá cà chua với hiệ

Molecular-field Molecular-field Study on Sn Substituted Yttrium Iron Garnet Authors:  Nguyen, Phuc Duong Samples with the compositions Y2.9Ca0.1Fe4.9Sn0.1O12 and Y3Fe4.9Sn0.1O12 were prepared by using a sol-gel technique. The influence of the substituted non-magnetic cations with different valences in the structural and magnetic properties was studied. X-ray diffraction and field-emission electron scanning microscope techniques were used to study the crystal structure and morphology. Magnetization curves in fields up to 10 kOe and in temperature range from 80 K to 570 K were measured by means of a vibrating sample magnetometer.
